What Makes This Heater Tick
We built this infrared heater for the kind of places where you need serious, focused heat—right where you want it—without wasting energy warming the whole room. It runs on 400V and draws 2500W, so you get a lot of heat packed into a small package. The tube is just 300mm long, which means it slips into tight corners that bigger heaters can’t touch. And the heat hits instantly. This is direct resistive heating, so the moment you switch it on, the energy goes exactly where you point it. No waiting around.
Built to Take the Grind
Inside, you’ve got a halogen-filled quartz tube. Quartz handles the extreme heat of the filament and doesn’t flinch when temperatures swing fast. The halogen cycle inside keeps the tube clean, so the output stays steady over time. We also coated the tube to focus the infrared energy and shield the element. That way, it keeps performing consistently, even when it’s getting knocked around on a busy shop floor. Wiring is simple, too. The R7s connector is a straight-line, two-contact design that drops right into standard R7s sockets. Replacing a unit is a quick swap—no redesigning the fixture.
Where It Shines (And What to Watch For)
This heater is your go-to for spot heating or localized comfort when air movement is low and space is tight. The shortwave output warms people, surfaces, and equipment fast, and the compact size keeps installation straightforward. Just keep in mind: at 2500W on 400V, it packs a thermal punch. Make sure your wiring, fusing, and ventilation are up to the job, so everything stays safe and the surrounding area stays within limits.
