The grit behind the glass
We use high-purity quartz glass because it can handle the shock of rapid heating and cooling without cracking. These are shortwave halogen lamps, but we’ve added specific coatings to the quartz. Here’s the trick: we filter the IR spectrum so the energy hits the PET material, not the oven walls. It’s about putting the heat where it belongs. Just a heads-up—these tubes put out a massive amount of heat. Make sure your ventilation is clear. If the airflow is blocked, that heat builds up and starts eating away at the internal electrodes. Keep it breathing, and the bulbs will last.
