The filament hits its stride almost instantly. It just works. Built for the Splash Zone That “IP65” label is basically a promise that your heater won’t freak out if it gets wet. We use tempered glass and silicone gaskets to seal everything tight. This keeps dust and water jets away from the electrical guts. If you’re putting these in a steamy bathroom or a patio that sees a bit of rain, you don’t have to worry about the wiring corroding or the whole thing shorting out. It’s just solid, durable gear. A Couple of Things to Keep in Mind It’s not magic, and there are a few quirks. Since it’s infrared, the heat travels in a straight line. If you aren’t standing in the “beam,” you won’t feel it. It’s targeted heat, not a blanket of warmth. Also, be careful with your electrical panel. These units pull a lot of power. If you hook up four or five heaters to one smart circuit without checking your wiring first, you’re probably going to trip a breaker. Definitely do the math on your total amperage before you start drilling holes in the wall. But when you pair these with a smart sensor? That’s where it gets great. The system can tweak the power on the fly to keep the room exactly where you want it, so you stay warm without accidentally turning your patio into a sauna.
