No drilling, no hacking, no headaches. The nitty-gritty on fitment We didn’t guess on the specs. We mirrored the OEM footprint—length, wattage, and voltage—so the heating profile stays exactly where it needs to be. If you’re pushing a high-speed Matrix line, you know that lag is the enemy. To stop that, we use high-purity quartz glass. It lets the IR radiation hit the PET preform evenly, so you aren’t dealing with hot spots or cold zones. And the connectors? We kept them simple. Depending on your machine’s age, we provide R7s or Sk15 terminations. They just click in. No fighting with mismatched pins or praying that a fragile socket doesn’t snap in your hand. A quick word on heat and trade-offs You’ve got two choices here: clear or coated. The coated lamps are a smart move if you want to stop wasting energy. They shift the emission spectrum to match PET’s absorption peaks, meaning more heat goes into the plastic and less into the air. But here is the thing: high-wattage tubes put out a massive amount of heat. If you crank up the wattage to shave seconds off your cycle time, make sure your cooling blowers are actually clean and working. If they aren’t, you’ll cook the lamp ends and burn out your sockets. It’s a fast way to cause a shutdown. Getting them in the machine The best part is that these are true drop-ins. You don’t need to touch your power supply or mess with the brackets. We also matched the electrical resistance to the OEM spec. Why? Because nobody wants to see an error code pop up on the controller the second they flip the switch. Just pull the old tube, slide ours in, lock the connector, and get the line moving again. Simple as that.
