What It’s Made Of
We went with high-purity quartz for the outer tube. Why? Because it takes the heat swings in stride, handling the constant cycle of heating up and cooling down without cracking under pressure. Inside, you’ve got a tungsten halogen filament. It fires up quickly and delivers a steady stream of infrared heat. The halogen cycle keeps the filament clean, so the output stays consistent over time. No fading performance. The R7s connector is a small detail with a big job. It handles the heavy current and gives you a solid, two-point connection in the socket. That means less resistance, fewer hot spots, and no weak links that burn out fast. We built it exactly like the original—because on a blow molder, a flimsy connection is a fast ticket to downtime.
Real-World Performance
On the line, this lamp keeps your parisons heated evenly. That means consistent length and wall thickness, which keeps everything running within spec. And since it’s a drop-in replacement, you can swap it out and get back to work quickly—wire it up, and you’re good to go. But let’s be real for a second. Packing 2500W into a 300mm tube creates a lot of heat. Your machine’s cooling system has to be up to the task.
